       Ultraviolet curing is a photochemical process that uses ultraviolet radiation to instantaneously cure inks, paints, and adhesives that are widely used in the industry. Compared with traditional thermal curing technology, UV curing has many advantages: increase production speed, reduce scrap rate, increase/enhance scratch resistance and solvent resistance, and better/good adhesion. The Light Hammer 6 type electrodeless UV lamp tube with these advantages is only 6 inches (150 mm) in size, and the working power level reaches 500 watts/inch (200 watts/cm). Its outstanding feature is that it has two easy Modular components for maintenance: light box and solid-state power control box through microwave excitation/sending. The core of this microwave technology is the placement of an electrodeless lamp tube in an elliptical reflector, which can be focused/focused into a strong beam at a position 53.3 mm (2.1 inches) below the front of the lamp.

      


Electrodeless tube


       Long service life, stable performance, high light intensity, low heat, easy maintenance, etc. Lamps can be freely selected according to the different commonly used spectral distributions. Common types are as follows: "H" type lamps are suitable for curing transparent coatings and varnishes; "D" type lamps have a very common spectral distribution and are widely used Curing inks, thicker coatings or adhesives; the light of the "V" lamp tube can penetrate the laminate, and the white primer can be cured. The "V" spectral distribution area can also be used in other special situations.


       


        The fast UV curing process benefits from the strong UV light with less red/outer line; the small size of the lamp tube and the oval reflector can provide strong UV radiation, which is suitable for fast curing operations. At the same time, the size of the lamp tube is small, which reduces the generation of infrared/line heat, so that the surface temperature of the workpiece to be cured is lower, and the use of complex heat removal technology is avoided.




Higher efficiency comes from solid-state power

   Each FUSION electrodeless UV lamp system is equipped with its own power control box, which is a modular component based on a microprocessor. Inside the power control box, the circuit can withstand high voltage and connect to a solid-state switching motor. This design can provide a constant voltage direct current for the entire system, which can prolong the service life of the magnetron and the lamp and reduce the customer's maintenance costs. Solid-state electronic components dissipate less heat and are more efficient/rate when working, thus saving power consumption, reducing noise pollution to the environment and reducing the size of the light box.


  


       The lamp can be controlled and operated through the control panel, or remotely operated through a PLC (programmable controller), the energy/quantity output can be changed from 25% to 100/%. The "adjustable and changeable" characteristic of the output energy/quantity enables the energy/quantity output of the lamp to be changed according to different production speeds, or to match different inking/painting requirements.


  


       The microprocessor control system technology of this product is very mature. It allows multiple systems to be connected to each other and can control a single lamp or a group of lamps. In addition, since there is no loss of ultraviolet light energy/quantity at the junction of the two lamps, multiple lamp holders can be connected in parallel or connected in series, which is suitable for large-scale and wide-width curing operations.




"Electronic Shutter Technology"

  In some special curing processes, the switching cycle of the UV lamp is required to be very short. The traditional technology is to use a relatively large mechanical shutter, and FUSIONLight Hammer 6 can realize the repeated cycle/loop operation from high-energy/quantity ultraviolet light to low-energy/quantity ultraviolet light within a few seconds, and realizes the "electronic shutter" "Features. Since this lamp has a very short response time to operation commands, it does not require the use of a mechanical shutter. This cycle/loop operation performance is a function of normal cycle/loop operation, and the requirement for cooling air flow is reduced (see Figure 2).
